Sound & feel

Silent Bluish White keeps almost exactly the big rounded bump of its louder sibling and wraps the landing in silicone padding, dampening both bottom-out and upstroke. What remains is a faint, soft "puc", quiet enough for a shared office or a sleeping household, with tactility that never feels vague.

The two spec sheets sit close enough that they are often copied from each other, so here is what TTC actually publishes: 42 gf at actuation on both, a 58 gf tactile peak on this one against the loud version's 60 gf, and 3.5mm of total travel on both. The silicone sits on the stem rails rather than under the stroke, which is why this variant does not give up travel the way most silenced switches do. Neither one carries a published bottom-out force.

Silent tactiles usually force a trade between bump quality and mushiness; this one gives up remarkably little of either, which is why it sits alongside the Boba U4 in most "best silent tactile" conversations while being easier to find in prebuilt boards.

Frequently asked questions

What does the TTC Silent Bluish White sound like?

soft dampened 'puc', bump intact. Use the player on this page to hear simulated press and release sounds derived from its real specifications, and as a silent switch it is one of the quieter options you can buy.

Is the TTC Silent Bluish White good for gaming or typing?

Its tactile bump, which TTC rates at a 58g peak, gives clear feedback on every actuation, which most people love for typing. It works for gaming too, though some prefer linears for rapid double-taps.

How heavy is the TTC Silent Bluish White?

42g actuation, 58g at the tactile bump. Note that TTC officially rates actuation force. Brands differ, so check the basis when comparing switches.
