Gazzew Boba U4
Tactile SilentThe best-in-class silent tactile: the U4T's huge top-of-travel bump with silicone dampening that makes it nearly inaudible. Full tactile feedback, library-safe volume.
Sound & feel
The Boba U4 is the silent sibling of the U4T: same housing, same enormous bump at the very top of travel, but with integrated dampening pads that absorb both the bottom-out and the upstroke. It also skips the U4T's long stem pole, so travel stays at the full 4mm. The usual silent-switch trade-off is a mushy landing; the U4 keeps it unusually firm.
In practice it is about as quiet as a full-travel MX-style switch gets while still delivering real feedback to your fingers. That combination made it the default recommendation for shared offices, late-night households, and streamers who want tactility without microphone bleed.
Like all Gazzew Bobas it ships only lightly factory lubed (springs and leaves, not the slider rails), is 5-pin, and comes in 62g or 68g bottom-out weights. If you want the same feel with the famous sound, that is exactly what the U4T is for.
Sound on this page is synthesized from the switch's published specs and community-documented character: an honest simulation, not a recording. We're progressively replacing simulations with our own studio recordings. How our sounds are made
