TTC Golden Brown V3
TactileA refined MX Brown-class tactile with TTC's factory lube and gold spring. For people who like the Brown formula but want it executed better.
Sound & feel
Golden Brown V3 is essentially the MX Brown concept done with modern care: a 55 gf tactile peak at 0.9mm over a 45 gf actuation point, in a full 4.0mm stroke, with TTC's factory lube and gold-plated two-stage spring smoothing everything the classic Brown left rough. Sources split on which number to headline: TTC's own table gives 45 gf at actuation with a 55 gf tactile peak, while the entire retail channel sells the switch as "Golden Brown 55g". This page follows TTC: 45 gf sits in the actuation row and the 55 gf is filed as the tactile peak, so the switch a retailer calls 55 g is still this one. TTC publishes no bottom-out force for it, which is why that row is blank. The bump stays moderate. This is an everyday tactile, not a thumper.
Its sound is a measured mid-pitch tap that blends into an office without disappearing entirely. A good conservative choice for first-time upgraders who know they like Browns but want less scratch and rattle.
Sound on this page is synthesized from the switch's published specs and community-documented character: an honest simulation, not a recording. We're progressively replacing simulations with our own studio recordings. How our sounds are made
