The Durock T1 democratized the big-bump tactile. Its large, rounded D-shaped force curve delivers feedback in the same family as the fabled Holy Panda, but from a factory that could actually make them in volume and at sane prices. The stem and housing platform went on to underpin countless commissioned tactiles (Koalas among them).

Rated by its 67g bottom-out with actuation around 55g, the T1 lands with a deep, thocky tap. Vendors split on that actuation figure: Amazon and some stores list 55g while MaxGaming, Keebio and Kinetic Labs list 52g, which is the number the silent T1 Shrimp carries here. Only the 67g bottom-out is Durock's own rating, so compare on that. Stock lube is decent, though the tactile leaf can produce minor ping that films and lube clean up.
