Sound & feel

The WS Morandi is a linear built by Haimu for Wuque Studio, with POM top and bottom housings around a UPE stem. That material pairing is what gives the bottom-out its dense, low character instead of the brighter crack a polycarbonate housing produces.

It actuates at 50g around 2mm and bottoms out at 60g, with total travel of 3.5mm rather than the usual 4mm, so the stroke ends sooner and more definitely than most linears. An 18mm double-stage spring keeps the return firm without loading up the top of the press, and a PMMA column in the housing spreads per-key lighting through the muted Morandi-palette colors the switch is named for.

They ship factory lubed on 5-pin bottom housings, so nothing is required out of the bag. Cross-shop them against the other POM linears: the NK Cream is scratchier and more vocal stock, the Durock POM Linear firmer at 63.5g, and the Morandi sits between them with the least work needed.
