NovelKeys NK Blueberry
TactileNovelKeys' heavy tactile with a bump that runs most of the stroke, deferring actuation to about 3mm, and a deep landing. Polarizing by design. Some love the wall-like resistance; others find it exhausting.
Sound & feel
The NK Blueberry goes against the grain of modern tactile design. Where Holy Panda descendants push the bump to the very top of travel, the Blueberry's bump starts early, around 0.75mm, and then refuses to end. It forms a long two-stage plateau running through roughly the first 3mm of the 4mm stroke, with electrical actuation deferred all the way to about 3.0mm. NovelKeys rates it at 55g to actuate and 80g at the bottom, and the housing is Kailh's Cream POM shell fitted with a NovelKeys blue stem, which is where the depth in the sound comes from.
The result feels less like a bump than a long ramp you push through before the key registers, deliberate and substantial, with a deep sound to match. Fans describe it as satisfying and impossible to type on carelessly; critics find the late bump interrupts their rhythm.
It is best treated as a deliberate stylistic choice rather than a general recommendation: try before committing a full board, and expect your fingers to notice the workout.
