Box Ink Pink V2 crosses two ideas: Gateron's premium Ink housing material and a box-style stem whose walls shield the contact mechanism from dust while cutting stem wobble. The Ink family's deep, smooth character survives the change, with a slightly tighter and more contained attack from the boxed stem.
It is the lighter of the two Box Inks. Gateron rates Pink at 50±15 gf where Box Ink Black is 60±15 gf, and both sit on the platform's short geometry: actuation at 1.2 mm inside 3.4 mm of total travel. ThereminGoat's measurements put the Pink at 50 g to actuate and 60 g at the bottom. Set against the classic Ink Black V2, that is 10 g less spring and 0.6 mm less distance, so it plays quicker and lands sooner.
