Durock (JWK) Silent Alpaca
Linear SilentThe best-known silent linear in the hobby: Alpaca smoothness with dampening pads on both strokes. The default answer to 'I need a quiet board that still feels good.'
Sound & feel
Silent Alpaca takes the beloved Alpaca platform and adds elastomer dampening to the stem rails, softening both the bottom-out and the upstroke slap that make normal switches audible across a room. It became the silent linear other silents are compared against. The trade-off of slight cushioning at the end of travel is about as small here as the category allows.
Specs mirror the standard Alpaca (62g bottom-out rating, ~48g actuation) with travel shortened slightly by the pads. For streamers, open offices, and midnight typists, it remains a first-ballot recommendation alongside the newer Outemu Silent Peach.

Is the Durock (JWK) Silent Alpaca good for gaming or typing?
