The Cream Clickie's click comes from neither a click bar nor a click jacket. NovelKeys calls the part a snapple cap: a metal disk roughly 0.03mm thick, bowed to one side, that the stem strikes and deforms on each press. The result is a pop much closer to a bottle cap than to any other switch's click, and it sits inside the Cream's all-POM housing.
NovelKeys rates it at 55g operating and 75g at the bottom, actuating at 1.9mm of a 3.9mm stroke. The POM takes some edge off the tail of the sound, but the pop itself is bright, and reviewers consistently describe it as snappier than a click bar rather than warmer.
