BOX White is the switch that made click bars famous. Instead of Cherry's loose click jacket, a small metal torsion bar is snapped by the stem (once on the way down, once on the way up), producing a sharp, precise "tick-tick" utterly free of the rattle that plagues jacket designs.
The light 45 g weight and crisp bump-click alignment make it fast and effortless, and the sealed box stem adds dust protection and stem stability on top. For many enthusiasts this is simply the correct modern clicky: all the joy of the sound, none of the sloppiness.

One caveat if you are buying old stock: BOX stems were widened from 1.30 mm to 1.32 mm partway through early production, and that batch cracked or stretched Cherry-profile keycap mounts. Kaihua reverted to 1.30 mm in 2018, so current switches are safe, but treat old bags carefully around expensive caps.
