Milky Yellow swaps the standard Yellow's housing for Gateron's opaque "milky" nylon blend, and the material change transforms the voice: softer attack, lower pitch, the muted creamy quality enthusiasts chase in switches costing three times more. It became the community's go-to answer for cheap thock.

Early milky-housing batches needed lube to shine, which the Pro line fixed with factory lubrication. A modern Milky Yellow Pro sounds genuinely tuned with zero work, which is remarkable at well under thirty cents a switch. Gateron rates the Pro at 50 gf and stops there; the 62 g in the bottom-out row is MechanicalKeyboards' figure, and the Switch Library reads it a shade higher at 63.5 g.
