If one switch defines the "cheap thock" era, it is the V3 Cream Yellow Pro. Akko's V3 Pro line pairs proper factory lube with tightened travel, 3.3mm in the Cream Yellow's case, and the Cream Yellow's housing blend lands on a muted, creamy bottom-out that sounds far more expensive than it is. Reviewers routinely name it the best value linear in the hobby.

The 50g actuation with a tight 55g bottom-out gives a consistent, medium-light stroke that suits both typing and gaming. It is a 5-pin switch, so it seats firmly in PCB-mount and hot-swap boards. Clip the two plastic legs if your build is 3-pin only. Akko publishes only the 50 gf, so the 55 is a retail-channel figure and vendors do not all agree on it; Milktooth lists 60.
